CleanFullSetFR C’est quoi ?
Tout simplement une nouvelle compilation de roms réunissant l’ensemble des jeux de la plateforme concerné en priorisant la version française (et le français) dans un premier temps, puis la version européenne, puis américaine et enfin japonaise.
Ce qui signifie que si le jeu concerné existe en français, vous l’aurez en français dans le set ! A défaut de français, on se concentre alors sur la version européenne S’il n’en existe pas, ce sera dans un premier temps la version américaine qu’on cherchera à mettre dans le set, et s’il n’existe pas de version américaine, ce sera alors la version japonaise. Mais si le jeu n’existe qu’au Brésil par exemple, vous aurez alors la version brésilienne !
Nous faisons cela via les outils de tri de roms tels que clrMamePro et RomCenter (avec des romsets complets célèbres) en utilisant le mode « 1G1R » (One Game One Rom) avec des réglages maison et quelques tris manuels pour peaufiner le set.
Vous l’aurez compris, dans le CleanFullSetFR, il n’y a aucun jeu en double !
On cherche aussi à réunir les roms traduites par la communauté (pas systématiquement, mais on essaie). Étant des roms « hackés » nous les mettrons dans un dossier séparé pour vous laisser le choix !
TOUS LES JEUX, PAS DE DOUBLON, JEUX LE PLUS SOUVENT POSSIBLE EN FRANÇAIS !
On cherche à réunir l’ensemble des roms d’une plateforme par sets. Ce qui signifie que si à un moment donné, la plateforme s’est vu équipé d’un lecteur CD-Rom par exemple, l’ensemble des roms sur CD sera aussi intégré au set. C’est par exemple avec le cas la Sega Mega Drive qui a connu l’extension 32X qui avait ses propres cartouche, et aussi Mega-CD qui ajoutait un lecteur CD-Rom. Tous les jeux sont inclus au CleanFullSetFR, dans des dossiers séparés pour vous laisser choisir quoi télécharger.
Les CleanFullSetFR étant basés sur des sets populaires (No-Intro, Redump…), les dumps sont de bonne qualité et les roms s’intègreront facilement à vos frontends d’émulation tels que Launchbox, Hyperspin, Emulation Station… Dans le cas où certaine roms n’étaient pas reconnues (par Launchbox), nous avons corrigé leurs noms.
Un dernier détail, la structure de fichiers et dossiers des CleanFullSetFR est normalisé, c’est à dire que les sets sont parfaitement fusionnables tout en restant parfaitement organisés ! Ils s’organisent de la sorte :

Si vous ajoutez fusionnez le set « ConsoleXYZ-1 | ConsoleXYZ-2 » avec par exemple « ConsoleXYZ-3 », la structure des dossiers étant exactement la même, tout restera clair !

Les sets sont dans des dossiers séparés, vous n’êtes pas obligé de tout télécharger !
Nous pensons qu’il ne manque aucun jeu au set, mais il se peut que nous nous trompions. Merci de nous faire part s’il y a une erreur, un mauvais dump, un fichier corrompu… Le but est de partager avec vous le set le plus complet et fonctionnel qui soit !
Pour faire fonctionner les roms 64DD originales, nous vous recommandons de télécharger la dernière version de « Project 64 64DD.org » (version custom) disponible ici. Pour pouvoir les lancer, l’émulateur doit connaître l’emplacement du fichier « 64DD IPL », disponible dans le dossier « Bios Files/Nintendo 64DD ». La version la plus fonctionnelle de ce fichier est « N64DD IPLROM (J).n64 ». Nous avons aussi inclus des portages Nintendo 64 de jeux 64DD (dans le dossier « Spécial »), qui fonctionnent directement dans la version originale de Project 64.
Pour les jeux Nintendo 64, nous vous recommandons Project64 ou encore RetroArch avec le core Mupen64Plus (bien que nous gardons une préférence pour le Project64).
Pour vous débarrasser définitivement du pop-up au lancement de Project64 (version 2.3), remplacez « Run Count=1 » par « Run Count=-1 » dans le fichier « Project64.cfg » du dossier « Config » de Project64.

Il se peut que des erreurs de grammaire se soient glissées ci-et-là dans la description, que nous ayons raté des traductions de roms, qu’il manque un jeu… Le but de CleanFullSetFR est de créer le meilleur pack de roms possible pour la communauté française, alors n’hésitez pas à nous faire part du moindre problème !
