**今回は、自然と調和する庭園が見事な洛西の古刹をめぐる。
「竹寺」と呼ばれる地蔵院は、青さが目に眩しい竹林や美しい苔の絨毯が圧巻。1万本もの竹を1人で手入れする住職の思いに触れる。黄檗宗の浄住寺は、中国・明朝時代の建築様式を取り入れた本堂や、青もみじのトンネルが趣きのある参道が見どころ。そして山の斜面に広がる青もみじと風にそよぐ山野草が美しい常寂光寺など、夏の疲れを癒してくれる庭園の魅力を伝える。**
